The Story Behind This Shot
A two-track road curving through aspens at Kenosha Pass, Colorado, with the trees turning yellow and gold and blue mountains under a scatter of clouds in the distance. The road gives the eye an easy way into the frame and out to the peaks. Kenosha Pass, on US 285 southwest of Denver, is one of the most popular aspen drives on the Front Range, and late September is usually peak. A bright, inviting fall print about the journey as much as the view.
