The Story Behind This Shot

Fallen leaves circling below the cascade at Golden Ponds in Longmont, a 30-second exposure turning the eddy into a spiral of every color the willows and cottonwoods let go of. A log lies across the falls and yellow branches hang in from the left. The water does the composing; I just kept the tripod still.

A vivid, hypnotic fall water print with a center you cannot stop looking at.
