Morning fog lifting through a hillside of turning aspens above Steamboat Springs while the sun works to punch through from behind. Gold leaves, dark spruce, and just enough haze to separate every ridge. Fall mornings in the Yampa Valley run cold and wet and then clear in about twenty minutes.
