The Story Behind This Shot

A blazing sunset over Ferril Lake in Denver's City Park, Colorado, with fiery orange and purple clouds spread across the whole sky and geese drifting on water that mirrors every bit of it. Dry cattails in the foreground give the frame a dark, textured base. On the right night City Park delivers a sky as big as any mountain location, with the skyline and the Front Range lined up to the west. A vivid, dramatic Denver print for a large wall.
