The Story Behind This Shot
Musk thistle standing guard in the foreground while a rock face takes the day's first light across the lake. The water was still glassy from the night. Purple blooms against gold rock is a color pairing no one had to invent.
A layered summer landscape print that gives the eye a near subject and a far one.
