The Story Behind This Shot

Sun rays breaking through storm clouds over a huge sunflower field near Denver International Airport, Colorado, with rows of blooms stretching to the horizon. A vertical frame gives the sky room to show off the beams. The farmland around the airport is leased to growers who rotate crops, so the sunflowers move from year to year and only bloom for a few weeks in late summer. A bright, uplifting summer print for a tall wall.
