The Story Behind This Shot
Aspen sunflowers stacked all the way to the horizon under Gothic Mountain outside Crested Butte, Colorado. The town calls itself the wildflower capital of Colorado and every July backs up the claim. Yellow to the treeline, green above that, and rock above that.
A joyful, high-color summer wildflower print with real depth of field.
