The Story Behind This Shot
The sun cracking over the ridge above a beaver pond at Kenosha Pass, gold grass and willows glowing in the shallow water and aspens turning on the hillside behind. The dam builders picked the best real estate in the drainage and then flooded it. Slow water, hard light, and frost still in the shade.
A radiant autumn print with a beautiful starburst and real warmth.
