The Story Behind This Shot
Notchtop Mountain lit up while the tarn below stays in frozen shadow, gold grass frozen into the ice along the outlet. Vertical country from top to bottom in Rocky Mountain National Park. Warm light on the summit, cold blue everywhere else.
A striking winter alpine print with exceptional foreground texture.
