The Story Behind This Shot
A cow elk standing alert in a meadow at dawn, framed by an old ponderosa with a dark ridgeline and violet cloud behind her. Early morning, before they drift back into the timber, is when they have the open ground to themselves. Warm gold grass against a brightening sky.
A calm, beautifully lit Colorado wildlife print that works in almost any room.
