The Story Behind This Shot
Winter sun cracking through the pines while a pair of mule deer pick their way across fresh snow at Garden of the Gods. Shot straight into the light on purpose, squinting the whole time, letting the flare become part of the picture. Backlit snow turns the whole scene into a glow.
A luminous Colorado wildlife print with real warmth in a cold scene.
