The Story Behind This Shot
Lake Dillon in Summit County showing that impossible turquoise, with drought-exposed shoreline curving through the pines and the Tenmile Range standing watch behind. Early fall gold is just starting to show in the aspens along the bank. The 2026 water year ran historically dry, and the low waterline is part of the record this frame keeps.
A bright, blue-forward Colorado lake print that holds a room's attention without crowding it.
