The Story Behind This Shot

A bull bison working a winter meadow while the sky went pastel pink and blue behind him, another of the herd scattered off in the grass. Shot from a respectful distance with a long lens, the only correct way to photograph these animals. Two thousand pounds of American history grazing in evening light.

A warm, wide Colorado wildlife print that works beautifully in a den or entryway.
