The Story Behind This Shot
A wild turkey in full strut outside Boulder, tail fanned, wattles flushed red and blue, and absolutely nobody around to be impressed by it. Spring is when the toms lose all sense of proportion. Shot low against bright green so the fan reads clean.
A funny, genuinely charismatic wildlife print with more personality than most portraits.
