The Story Behind This Shot
The Rocky Mountain Arsenal bison herd strung out across a snow-covered field in heavy fog, a bare cottonwood standing over them and everything else dissolved to white. Thirty-odd animals and almost no other information in the frame. Denver sits a few miles away and you would never know it.
A stark, atmospheric wildlife print with a genuinely painterly quality.
