The Story Behind This Shot
The Milky Way hanging over the Pawnee Buttes with nothing man-made visible in any direction. Pawnee dark is real dark, and the core comes up over the prairie like it does nowhere else in Colorado. Yucca and shortgrass under a full arm of the galaxy.
A remarkable Colorado astrophotography print with a genuinely rare sky.
