The Story Behind This Shot
Gambel oak leaves in rust and copper hanging on well past their season, backlit against a soft bokeh of bare branches. The scrub oak always outlasts the aspens by a month or more. Every leaf curled and dry and still holding its color.
A warm, textural winter macro print with beautiful earth tones.
