The Story Behind This Shot

The old Abbott church glowing under the Milky Way core on a moonless night out on the Colorado plains. A hundred miles from the mountains and some of the darkest skies in the state. Red light on the windows, a wash of stars overhead, and nothing else for miles.

A striking astrophotography print with a strong, simple subject under an enormous sky.
